Duties Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Greet customers warmly, providing friendly and professional service at all times Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity Assist customers with product questions, upselling opportunities, and product demos to enhance their shopping experience Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure product availability and visual appeal Manage inventory levels through stocking and merchandising activities, supporting store operations Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support team members with supervising experience by helping train new staff or guiding less experienced colleagues in cashier procedures Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred; familiarity with POS systems is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in bilingual environments if applicable Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy Proven customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to perform cashier duties efficiently in a fast-paced grocery store or retail setting Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos is advantageous Demonstrated phone etiquette and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Supervising experience is a plus for candidates interested in growth opportunities within the team Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while developing your retail expertise!
