Duties Operate cash registers efficiently, handling retail sales transactions with accuracy and speed while managing cash drawer handling and cash handling procedures. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product selections and demos. Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. Stock shelves, organize displays, and assist with merchandising to ensure the store remains attractive and well-organized. Conduct product demos when appropriate to educate customers about features and benefits of items. Maintain proper phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or taking inquiries. Support supervising staff by helping with training new team members on POS systems, retail math, and store policies. Skills Proficiency in POS (Point of Sale) systems, cash register operations, and retail sales transactions. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in multiple languages (bilingual skills are a plus). Experience supervising or mentoring team members is preferred to help foster a collaborative environment. Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and basic math for retail math calculations. Ability to perform cashiering duties accurately while handling cash drawers and performing cash handling tasks responsibly. Excellent phone etiquette skills for professional customer interactions over the phone. Demonstrated ability to upsell products confidently and perform product demos that enhance customer experience.
