Job Description

Starting Pay:
$19.00 + Tips The Dash Concessionaire provides fast, friendly, and accurate service to guests purchasing food, beverages, and retail items. This role prepares orders, maintains clean and organized concession areas, supports merchandising and inventory functions, and ensures all transactions and service interactions meet company standards for quality, efficiency, and guest satisfaction. Greet guests warmly and take food and beverage orders with accuracy and efficiency. Prepare and serve concession food and beverage items according to established standards. Deliver exceptional guest service by engaging in suggestive selling and anticipating guest needs. Maintain and troubleshoot concession equipment, perform basic preventative maintenance, and request repairs when needed. Support merchandising efforts including product displays, store layout, inventory receiving, stocking, and pricing. Perform cash‑handling duties including operating POS systems, processing transactions, and completing daily reports. Ensure concession and retail areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and operational readiness. Follow all operating procedures, safety guidelines, and sanitation standards. Assist in other food outlets as needed to support business demands. Perform additional duties or special assignments as required. Some high school education or equivalent. Flexibility to work varied schedules based on business needs. Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to read and interpret English‑language safety and operations manuals. Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work with minimal supervision. Experience with POS systems, cash handling, or restaurant equipment preferred. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand for long periods and perform frequent bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling. Ability to lift and move items as required for kitchen operations. Comfort working in environments with variable temperatures, lighting, and noise levels. Ability to safely handle kitchen tools, equipment, cleaning chemicals, and hot or wet surfaces. Compliance with all company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
