Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious pizzas and have a strong understanding of food safety and preparation. This role is responsible for cooking pizzas, preparing ingredients, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The successful candidate will be committed to providing exceptional customer service and upholding the high standards of our fine dining establishment.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook pizzas to order, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Manage food preparation and presentation to meet high culinary standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Handle and store food safely, adhering to food safety and handling best practices.
  • Assist with menu planning, including pizza options and specials.
  • Work effectively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food service.
  • Ensure a positive and welcoming dining experience for customers.
  • Perform other duties as required by the kitchen team.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a pizza cook or in a similar culinary role.
  • Knowledge of food preparation and presentation techniques.
  • Familiarity with menu planning and fine dining standards.
  • Experience with food handling and food safety practices.
  • Strong knife skills and ability to work with a variety of kitchen tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Certification as a dietary aide or equivalent experience.
