What they do
A Head Cashier manages all checkout functions including ensuring adequate staffing levels on checkouts, the processing of sales transactions and refunds, monitoring cash drawer amounts and maintaining the checkout area. Head cashier provides first level escalation for customer issues and assists in the supervision and training of cashiers. Head cashier may also be responsible for opening or closing procedures of a store, including alarm operation, unlocking store and setting up of checkout area.

Job Description
- 12 hours per week while school is in session.
- Friday from 8:30 AM
- 4:30 PM. The store is open on Saturdays from 10:00 AM
- 2:00 PM.
Skills and Competencies:
Knowledge of basic PC computer functions Ability to communicate well with other associates and customers Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation that may be necessaryRequirements:
