Job Description

FUNCTION
The Cashier is responsible for the redemption of tickets, vouchers and the sale of card room chips to customers and assuring that patrons have a favorable gaming experience. Cashiers are responsible for performing high volume cash transactions with guests and team members in a courteous, accurate, and timely manner.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Safeguards cage bank assets. Handles all patron exchanges of tickets for cash in a professional and courteous manner. Responsible for accurately counting and recording assigned funds and making exchanges of funds throughout the shift. Keeps cash drawer balanced and impressed. Makes exchanges with vault. Verifies and documents personal identification information for check and cash advance transactions, within established limits, and in compliance with check cashing policies, if utilized. Completing CTRs, W2Gs, and MTLs. Responsible for exemplary customer service. Ensures safety and security of employees and customers. Other duties as assigned.
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
Customer Service skills required Maintains a professional working relationship among all guests and personnel. Oral and written communication skills.
