Fast-Paced Cashier

Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service while handling transactions accurately and efficiently. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience in our grocery store environment. Duties

PART-TIME ONLY

Tip-Based. Tips are Pooled and Shared with Team. Base Wage Minimum + Tips 3 Shifts Available 5am-10/11am AND 10/11am-3pm AND 1pm-7pm Monday-Sunday Greet and welcome customers with a friendly, positive attitude. Accurately take customer orders, both in-person and over the phone. Operate the cash register and handle cash, credit card, and online payments. Provide information about the menu, including donut varieties, ingredients, and daily specials. Assist customers with any questions or concerns about their orders. Pack and serve donuts and other baked goods, ensuring accuracy and quality. Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the counter, seating, and display cases. Ensure customer-facing areas are well-stocked with napkins, condiments, and other supplies. Address customer complaints or issues professionally, escalating to management when needed. Skills Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Proficiency in basic math for accurate transaction processing. Experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. Ability to supervise and train junior staff when required. Knowledge of retail math concepts to assist with inventory management. Skills in upselling techniques to enhance the shopping experience for customers. Familiarity with product demonstrations to engage customers effectively. A proactive approach to maintaining a well-stocked and organized checkout area.
