Overview Join our vibrant team as a Morning Staff Member and become the heartbeat of our bustling café and food service environment! Duties Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and swiftly Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change and totals Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food prep areas, dining spaces, and behind the counter Assist with food safety protocols, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures Support food industry operations by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring a smooth workflow during busy mornings Experience Previous experience in food preparation or food service roles within quick service or fast-food restaurants is preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Strong skills in customer service, sales, upselling, and cash handling are essential Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is highly valued Experience working in a café or retail environment involving food industry tasks enhances your fit for this role Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for cash transactions and retail math applications are necessary Join us to start your mornings energized while making a positive impact on our guests' day!
