Responsibilities Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process sales transactions quickly and efficiently Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette Assist customers with product questions, upselling opportunities, and product demos to enhance their shopping experience Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed Maintain organized checkout areas by merchandising products, stocking shelves, and ensuring displays are neat and inviting Support retail sales efforts by promoting store promotions and assisting customers in finding products that meet their needs Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a welcoming environment Requirements Previous cashier experience in a grocery store or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Strong communication skills and the ability to provide outstanding customer service in a bilingual environment is a plus Experience supervising or mentoring team members is advantageous but not mandatory Ability to stand for extended periods, perform light physical tasks such as stocking shelves, and work flexible hours including weekends Knowledge of merchandising techniques, product demos, and retail math will help you excel in this role A positive attitude, proactive approach to upselling, and enthusiasm for creating an engaging shopping experience Join us as a Cashier and become an integral part of our dynamic retail team!
