Duties Operate the cash register (POS system) accurately to process retail sales transactions, including cash handling, credit card payments, and mobile payments. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions about products, and assisting with product demos when needed. Maintain an organized checkout area by stocking supplies, managing the cash drawer, and ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met. Handle retail store product knowledge confidently to answer customer inquiries and support merchandising efforts. Assist with stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring merchandise is well-presented to maximize sales opportunities. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when taking orders or answering customer inquiries over the phone. Support supervising staff during busy periods by assisting with training new team members or overseeing daily cashier operations. Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail environment is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
