Cashier Santa International, Inc DBA Kozo Sushi Pearl City Pearl City, HI Job Details Part-time From $16 an hour 11 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Employee discount Flexible schedule Qualifications Retail sales transactions Retail customer service procedures Food handling Cash amount verification Phone communication Shelf stocking Retail merchandising procedures Cash register Cash register operations Food service experience POS Merchandising display arrangement Retail store product knowledge Food industry Retail math Product placement POS systems Food safety Cash handling Client interaction via phone calls Full Job Description Duties Operate POS systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash register operations, including cash handling and cash drawer balancing Assist customers with product information and upselling opportunities Maintain knowledge of store products and merchandising standards to enhance customer experience Stock shelves and assist with inventory management as needed Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly Ensure proper phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries via phone or in person Assist with product demos and promotional activities to increase sales Requirements Previous retail sales or grocery store experience preferred Familiarity with POS systems and retail store product knowledge Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities (preferred) Excellent customer service skills with a professional phone etiquette Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and balancing cash drawers Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Supervising experience is a plus but not required Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks such as stocking and cashiering Knowledge of merchandising standards and product placement strategies This position offers an engaging work environment where your interpersonal skills and retail expertise will contribute directly to customer satisfaction and store success.
