Restaurant Window Cashier Leeward Bowl Pearl City, HI Job Details Part-time From $16 an hour 16 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Qualifications Food handling Customer communication Pre-cooking preparation Basic math Problem-solving Time management Full Job Description We are looking for a friendly, dependable Restaurant Window Cashier to join our team at a busy bowling center in Pearl City. You will be the main point of contact between our customers and kitchen staff, taking orders, processing payments, handing out food, and helping make sure orders are accurate and delivered quickly. No previous restaurant experience is required. We are happy to train someone with a positive attitude, good customer service skills, and a willingness to help the team. Responsibilities Greet customers and take food and beverage orders at the restaurant window Enter orders accurately using our POS system Process cash and credit card payments and provide accurate change and receipts Communicate orders and customer requests with kitchen staff Hand out completed orders and make sure customers receive the correct food, napkins, utensils, and condiments Monitor online and delivery orders and make sure they are prepared and distributed properly Answer customer questions and help resolve order issues Keep the restaurant window, counter, and surrounding work areas clean and organized Restock napkins, utensils, condiments, and other supplies as needed Assist kitchen staff with light food prep, cooking, stocking, or cleaning during slower periods Work together with cooks and other staff to keep service running smoothly Qualifications Previous cashier, customer service, or food service experience is preferred, but not required Friendly and comfortable interacting with customers Able to learn and use a POS system Basic math and cash-handling skills Good communication and time-management skills Able to stay organized and accurate during busy periods Dependable and able to work well with kitchen staff and other team members Willing to help with different tasks as needed
