A Head Cashier manages all checkout functions including ensuring adequate staffing levels on checkouts, the processing of sales transactions and refunds, monitoring cash drawer amounts and maintaining the checkout area. Head cashier provides first level escalation for customer issues and assists in the supervision and training of cashiers. Head cashier may also be responsible for opening or closing procedures of a store, including alarm operation, unlocking store and setting up of checkout area.

Looking for the Perfect 2-Hour Workday? Colfax-Mingo Jr/Sr High School is looking for someone to join us during the busiest (and hungriest) part of the school day! Lunch Cashier & Student Supervision at Colax-Mingo Jr/Sr High Monday-Friday 11:00 AM-1:00 PM (Wednesday schedule is 11:30-1:30) School days only You'll help keep lunch running smoothly by serving as our lunch cashier and helping supervise students during the lunch periods. This could be a great fit if you're: Retired and looking for a few hours out of the house A parent who wants a schedule that follows the school calendar Looking to earn some extra money without giving up your entire day Someone who enjoys being around students and being part of a school community Two hours.
