Duties Operate cash registers efficiently, handling all retail sales transactions with accuracy and speed using POS (Point of Sale) systems Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions about products, and offering assistance with store merchandise Manage cash drawer handling responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed at all times Assist with stocking shelves and merchandising to ensure store displays are attractive and organized Maintain professional phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries or coordinating store activities Support the team by supervising new or less experienced cashiers, sharing best practices for cashiering and customer engagement Qualifications Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus Knowledge of POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions Demonstrated ability to handle cash handling responsibilities confidently and responsibly Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Basic math skills for balancing cash drawers and processing transactions accurately Familiarity with retail store product knowledge, merchandising standards, and upselling techniques Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding shopping experiences!
