Automotive - Part-Time Cashiers Join the Biggers Auto Group Team! Biggers Automotive, proudly serving Elgin and the greater Chicagoland area is looking for enthusiastic part-time Cashiers for our Chevy and Mazda stores! We are looking to add to our team due to our growing needs. Experience a plus, but we are willing to train the right applicant. This position which will be responsible for handling customer transactions through calculating bills and processing payments. The ideal candidate must be accurate, customer-focused, and able to handle customer issues effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket. Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers. Ascertain and record totals of counter tickets and repair orders, sales deposits and verify against all cash, checks and credit card payments on hand at end of shift (add credit card slips to balance to batch totals) (communicating any discrepancies) (put repair order, counter tickets or stock numbers on credit card slips or checks) (putting repair orders and counter tickets in order by number). Guarantee all checks in accordance with the company policy. Filing (Service Repair Orders, Parts Counter Tickets, Car Deal Files, Hard Copies) Perform any other special duties as requested by the Controller.

Job/Education Requirements:

Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Must be 18 years or older Excellent oral communication skills. Excellent math aptitude and attention to detail Professional personal appearance. Ability to multitask and word independently Be willing to submit to a pre-employment screening which includes a background check and drug screen Benefits include discounts on vehicle parts and service. Lunch is provided on Saturdays Hours are Monday, Wednesday and every other Friday from 3 pm-8 pm, ½ day on Saturday Must be able to work most holidays
