Duties Operate cash registers and POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales transactions efficiently. Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision, ensuring proper cash drawer handling and balancing at shift end. Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product information or demos. Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance sales opportunities and improve customer satisfaction. Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and assist with merchandising efforts to keep the store visually appealing. Maintain professional phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries or coordinating store operations. Support inventory management by participating in stocking activities and monitoring product availability. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers effectively. Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
