Job Description
All Concord Market jobs require ensuring a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and employees, at all times. All positions must be performed with team and store standard operating procedures. All employees are required to spend significant time on the floor, engaging with customers, and pitching in to help whenever and wherever needed. All positions must strive to support our core values and goals. Job Description As a Cashier you will... Check out and bag customer's groceries efficiently and accurately. Follows proper check, cash, and credit procedures. Use proper procedures when ringing up scalable items. Clean and stock Front of House areas, including your own register•changing tapes and ribbon as necessary. Maintain and ensure maintenance of a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment. Assist FOH supervisor in controlling customer flow and backed up lines•helping reduce customer waiting time at the register. Provide excellent customer service, address customer needs in a timely and effective manner; answer phones and pages promptly and courteously. Maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product. May assist with training of a new Cashier. Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned. Ensure accuracy of signs and pricing. Immediately report safety hazards and violations. Uphold government regulations concerning the sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation. Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned by store leadership.
