In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining well-stocked shelves, managing inventory with precision, and providing exceptional customer service. Your proactive approach will ensure our store remains organized, inviting, and efficient, creating a positive shopping experience for every customer. Whether you're putting away deliveries, stocking shelves, or assisting customers at the register, your contributions will keep our store running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Stock shelves accurately using inventory management systems and RF scanners, ensuring product availability and proper merchandising. Load and unload shipments safely using forklifts and pallet jacks, maintaining organized storage areas in the warehouse. Conduct regular inventory control checks to prevent shrinkage and ensure stock levels meet demand. Assist customers with their purchases at the cashier station, providing friendly and knowledgeable service. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store, including storage areas. Support shipping & receiving processes by verifying shipments and managing inventory records. Engage in retail sales activities by promoting products, upselling items, and enhancing the overall shopping experience. Ensure compliance with safety standards during heavy lifting, stocking, and warehouse operations while adhering to organizational policies. Experience Previous experience working in a liquor store or retail environment specializing in alcohol or related products is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management systems and use of RF scanners for stock tracking. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, packaging, and merchandising tasks. Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are considered an asset for serving diverse customers effectively. Familiarity with warehouse procedures including shipping & receiving processes and inventory control practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining a high level of productivity in fast-paced settings.
