Duties Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service with enthusiasm and professionalism Operate POS Square systems to process sales accurately and efficiently Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with precision and integrity Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness of the cashier station, dining area, and food prep zones in compliance with sanitation standards Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, including assembling orders or preparing simple menu items Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service and minimize wait times Support food safety protocols by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices Qualifications Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or retail environments preferred; restaurant or quick service & fast food experience highly valued Familiarity with POS systems Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and managing sales totals accurately Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential Join us as a Food Truck Cashier where your energy fuels great experiences!
