Duties Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Assist guests with menu questions, food selections, and payment procedures to enhance their festival experience. Manage queues efficiently during peak times, ensuring swift service without compromising guest satisfaction. Uphold safety protocols by adhering to food handling, manual handling, and crowd management standards. Support event management by coordinating with vendors and staff to ensure smooth operations across food stalls and activity areas. Handle conflicts or guest concerns promptly with professionalism, de-escalating situations when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of cashier stations, including cash drawers and supplies, throughout the event. Experience Previous experience working in retail sales or food service environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills are essential for accurate transaction processing. Experience managing guest services in outdoor or event venue settings will be advantageous. Background in hospitality or resort environments can provide valuable insight into customer care standards. Skills in conflict management, public speaking, and conflict resolution will help you excel in dynamic festival atmospheres. Certifications such as CPR or First Aid are a plus for ensuring safety during outdoor events involving large crowds.
