A Cashier handles monetary transactions with customers. Takes customer payment for a product or service, provides change as needed and receipts for transactions. Provides accurate accounting of cash register funds, and provides customer service.
Provide the finest quality service and products to our customers, ensuring that you present yourself, your team, and the Clearwater Travel Plaza as the Obvious Choice. This position offers a variety of experiences including cashiering and basic food prep. Shifts are available between the hours of 10pm•6am Sunday•Thursday.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Possess a thorough knowledge of food court services, including menu selections, specials, and pricing Cheerfully greet customers, take their orders, and upsell as appropriate Work quickly and efficiently while preparing java drinks, sandwich bar items, or pizzas; adhere to CTP's approved recipes, portion sizes, and presentation Accurately perform cashier duties•including accurately running orders in the computerized register system, appropriately handling tenders to ensure cash drawers balance, performing basic addition/subtraction functions, and counting back change Accurately balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift Assist in general food court cleanliness, including keeping clean work and service areas, stocking supplies, and general cleaning. Communicate with customers, coworkers, and supervisors in a positive and professional manner. Address all customer complaints professionally and, if necessary, involve a supervisor. Comply with all safety rules, company policies, and scheduling requirements
