A Head Cashier manages all checkout functions including ensuring adequate staffing levels on checkouts, the processing of sales transactions and refunds, monitoring cash drawer amounts and maintaining the checkout area. Head cashier provides first level escalation for customer issues and assists in the supervision and training of cashiers. Head cashier may also be responsible for opening or closing procedures of a store, including alarm operation, unlocking store and setting up of checkout area.
The Snack Shop Captain oversees the daily operations of the snack shop, coffee shop or deli including appearance and presentation, customer experience, professional leadership and direction to all employees.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ensures compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws and ordinances. Demonstrates knowledge of the entire food and beverage menu and its preparation. Enforces safety and sanitary practices and maintenance for the entire operations. Completes all relevant SOPs (compliance and procedural items). Completes all relevant Systems in Place. Exercises good judgement and makes appropriate decisions

Minimum Degree Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
6 months of restaurant management experience; experience in serving and managing beer, wine and liquor
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
Customer Service Experience Preferred Team Building/Collaboration Time Management Team Player
