Duties Operate cash registers accurately, handling all retail sales transactions with speed and precision Provide friendly, professional customer service by greeting shoppers and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm Assist customers with product demos and upselling to enhance their shopping experience and increase sales Maintain knowledge of store products, promotions, and merchandising standards to support effective selling Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure the store remains attractive and well-organized Handle cash drawer operations responsibly, including cash handling, balancing registers, and reconciling transactions at shift end Use POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process returns, exchanges, and other transactions while adhering to company policies Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or taking orders Support inventory management by stocking shelves and participating in periodic stock counts Engage in retail math calculations for pricing, discounts, and transaction totals to ensure accuracy Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cash register operations in a retail setting Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs better Supervising experience is advantageous for supporting team members during busy periods Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for retail transactions and cash handling Knowledge of retail store product knowledge and merchandising principles Excellent phone etiquette and professional communication skills Experience in upselling, product demos, and promoting store promotions or new merchandise Capable of multitasking efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with retail sales transactions, stock management, and cash drawer handling Embark on a rewarding journey with us where your proactive approach will shine!
