Accurately operate the point-of-sale system and process customer transactions. Handle cash, credit cards, debit cards, and other approved forms of payment accurately. Verify customer identification and comply with all applicable laws and store policies regarding age-restricted sales. Provide customers with helpful and knowledgeable service regarding store products and locations. Answer customer questions and assist customers in locating products. Maintain an accurate cash drawer and follow established cash-handling procedures. Keep checkout areas clean, organized, and properly stocked.
