Duties Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service to enhance their shopping experience Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process sales Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures Upsell products and promote store specials to maximize sales opportunities Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, restock shelves, and assist with merchandising efforts Answer customer inquiries politely in person, demonstrating excellent communication skills Qualifications Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy retail setting while maintaining attention to detail Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse customer populations Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in growth opportunities within the team Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, stocking, and retail sales practices is beneficial Must be 21 years of age Must have reliable transportation Join us and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing excellent service while developing your retail skills.
