In person - Downtown Mount Airy About Vroom Blooms Vroom Blooms Studio & Market is a family-owned retail studio in downtown Mount Airy. We make plant-inspired car fresheners, home fragrance, and other handcrafted goods designed to make every ride a joyride and ditch the boring. We're looking for a dependable Part-Time Weekend Cashier to help run our downtown shop on Saturdays. About the Role This is a one-day-per-week position with a consistent Saturday schedule. You'll greet customers, help them find products and fragrances they'll enjoy, operate the register, restock merchandise, and help keep the shop clean and inviting. You'll also serve as a retail keyholder , so reliability is extremely important. Once trained, you should be comfortable helping operate the store independently and handling routine customer and shop responsibilities without constant supervision. Our store has quieter periods between customers, so this is not a job where we expect you to simply wait behind the register. During downtime, you may straighten displays, restock products, organize supplies, clean, or help with simple labeling and packaging tasks. We want someone who can look around, notice something that needs attention, and take care of it. What You'll Do Greet customers and provide friendly, low-pressure service Help customers find products and answer questions Operate the Square register and process transactions accurately Open and/or close the shop following established procedures Restock shelves and maintain attractive displays Keep the retail space clean and organized Monitor supplies and let us know when something needs attention Complete simple labeling, packaging, or other light production tasks during slower periods Handle routine store responsibilities independently once trained Who We're Looking For The most important thing we're looking for is dependability . We will train the right person.

10:45 AM-6:15 PM This position is approximately 7.5 hours per week . We may occasionally ask whether you are available to cover a Friday shift when needed. Friday availability is appreciated, but it is not part of the regular weekly schedule.
