Job Description

We are looking for someone who wants to become a valuable part of our pharmacy team. Duties:
Greet and assist patients at the front counter in a friendly, professional, and respectful manner. Provide excellent customer service and maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times. Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with refill requests, prescription pickup questions, and general inquiries. Take refill/order requests from patients and communicate them accurately to the pharmacy team. Operate the cash register, process cash/card transactions, and provide receipts accurately. Open, close, count, and balance the register as required. Manage and organize all OTC (over-the-counter) products, including stocking shelves and keeping displays neat. Regularly check for expired and soon-to-expire products and remove/report them appropriately. Prepare, package, and organize prescription deliveries for the pharmacy's delivery carrier/driver. Make sure deliveries are properly organized and ready for pickup. Receive, stock, and organize pharmacy merchandise and supplies. Keep the pharmacy, front counter, shelves, and work areas clean, organized, and professional. Assist with maintaining inventory and notify the appropriate staff when products or supplies are running low. Work closely with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other staff to keep daily pharmacy operations running smoothly. Must be dependable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented. Must be comfortable multitasking and working in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. Must have strong communication skills and be comfortable interacting with patients both in person and over the phone. Must speak English. Armenian, Spanish, and/or Arabic is a strong plus and highly preferred. Must be willing to learn, follow pharmacy procedures, and assist the team wherever needed. Skills & Qualifications Previous pharmacy experience is required. Strong customer service and communication skills. Friendly, patient, and professional when interacting with customers. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities. Comfortable answering phones and communicating with patients. Experience handling cash and operating a register. Dependable, punctual, responsible, and trustworthy. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. Able to work well independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills and ability to learn pharmacy systems. Understanding of patient privacy and confidentiality.
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
