Duties Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales transactions swiftly and correctly Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and offering product information or demos when needed Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with precision and integrity Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance sales opportunities Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Assist with inventory management through stock checks and product replenishment Practice professional phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries or coordinating with team members Experience Prior cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment preferred but not required Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Supervising experience is a plus, especially in overseeing team members or training new staff Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for transactions and inventory counts Experience conducting product demos or upselling to enhance customer engagement and sales performance Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, stocking procedures, and customer service best practices Join our team to make every shopping experience memorable!
