Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products, offering recommendations and product demos when appropriate Operate the cash register efficiently, handling retail sales transactions with accuracy using POS systems Fulfill online orders Experienced with Lottery Manage cash register operations, including cash handling, balancing cash drawers, and processing payments securely Maintain well-stocked shelves through regular stocking and merchandising of products to ensure an attractive store presentation Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products, store policies, and promotions via phone or in person Upsell products by highlighting special offers, new arrivals, or premium items to enhance sales opportunities Conduct product demos when applicable to educate customers about new or featured beverages and accessories Requirements Proven experience working in a liquor or retail store environment with supervising experience preferred Strong knowledge of retail store product offerings, merchandising techniques, and POS systems Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively; bilingual abilities are a plus Demonstrated proficiency in retail math, basic math skills, and cash register operations including cash drawer handling Ability to provide exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism with phone etiquette and sales focus Experience in retail sales transactions, upselling techniques, and cashiering responsibilities Knowledge of alcohol regulations and responsible alcohol service practices is desirable Ability to stand for extended periods, lift merchandise safely, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends Join our team today to be part of a lively environment where your expertise makes a difference!
