Duties Operate the cash register efficiently, accurately processing retail sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries or demos. Handle cash drawer management with integrity, ensuring proper cash handling and balancing at shift end. Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance sales opportunities while maintaining a friendly approach. Stock shelves and merchandise displays to ensure product availability and attractive presentation. Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via digital communication channels. Support merchandising efforts by organizing products according to store standards and assisting with inventory management. Requirements Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred; familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly valued to connect with a diverse customer base. Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills are advantageous for supporting team initiatives. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations. Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and stock management techniques. Ability to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism in all interactions. Familiarity with phone etiquette, upselling strategies, and product demos enhances the customer experience.
