Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash drawer handling. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries. Conduct product demos when needed to highlight features and benefits of store merchandise, encouraging upselling opportunities. Manage cash handling procedures with precision, ensuring correct change is given and transactions are balanced at shift end. Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store's appearance is inviting and well-organized. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or taking orders. Support inventory management through stocking products and participating in regular stock checks to ensure product availability. Experience Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery or specialty retail environments. Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is highly desirable. Supervising experience in a retail setting is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team coordination and customer service excellence. Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, to effectively serve diverse customer needs. Knowledge of retail math for accurate cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory management. Experience with merchandising techniques and product demos to engage customers and promote sales initiatives.
