We partner with various civic organizations, religious organizations and municipalities to provide fundraising opportunities. Additionally, we recycle used garments that otherwise would end up in an incinerator or landfill. We are seeking individuals to help build our presence in the United States. This position has great income growth potential based on individual performance. Cashiers are an integral part of creating sincere connections with customers. Cashiers provide excellent customer service by greeting our customer's upon arrival and ensuring they had an outstanding shopping experience upon check-out. Being a cashier is more than just ringing up merchandising and taking payments. We look to our cashiers as the ambassadors of the entire store. Our cashiers have extensive knowledge of our products and services and provide energetic customer service.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to read and write. Customer service skills requiring courtesy and good communication skills. Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail. Eye-hand coordination to sort and grasp. Ability to distinguish colors and sizes. Ability to perform basic math calculation (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, averages an measurements) at the level normally required in high school. Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screening as a condition of employment.

Education, Experience, Training Required:

High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of education and experience that yields the required knowledge, skills and abilities. High level of diplomacy and interpersonal skills. Retail experience preferred.

Job Duties:

Operate all aspects of the register, including cash and card transactions, scanners, and scales Maintain an accurate cash drawer, ensuring that all transactions are accounted for by the end of the shift Answer any customer inquiries, and use your knowledge of store layout and product content to give directions as needed Assist customers with bagging and carrying products as needed Maintain a clean work environment, keeping register clear for incoming customers Perform other duties as assigned by your manager
