A Head Cashier manages all checkout functions including ensuring adequate staffing levels on checkouts, the processing of sales transactions and refunds, monitoring cash drawer amounts and maintaining the checkout area. Head cashier provides first level escalation for customer issues and assists in the supervision and training of cashiers. Head cashier may also be responsible for opening or closing procedures of a store, including alarm operation, unlocking store and setting up of checkout area.

  • 401k 100% Match up to 6% The Store Team Lead primary duties are to direct customer traffic to fast checkouts, serve as first responder to customer inquiries, direct duties of cashiers and maintenance employees in absence of their respective managers.
Candidates must exhibit leadership, store knowledge and communicative skills in order to be considered for this role. The essential job functions include, but are not limited to: $23 / hour Illustrate competent knowledge of various Point of Sale and transaction devices Deliver clean, friendly and in-stock Serve as cashier when needed Enforce Company policies and procedures in absence of store management Perform close duties Assign and inspect elements of the shift duty list Reconcile shift reports Perform other duties as required and/or assigned Must be able to function in a fast-paced work environment Must be able to stand and walk on a hard or concrete surface, bend, reach, kneel, squat, reach overhead and side to side and able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis Walking, typing, sitting, climbing, lifting, or reading abilities necessary to complete essential tasks The Store Team Lead typically works 40 hours per week. The position requires that the employee be available mornings, evenings and overnight. Must have open availability to work weekdays, weekends and holidays Employee must be able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation The position requirements include, but are not limited to: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Minimum of 6 months Buc-ee's retail experience preferred May include periodic exposure to all outdoor conditions at all times of day and year Joining our team puts you on a path where opportunity for advancement is available.
