Position summary: The Cashier/Seller provides friendly, accurate, and efficient service to Golden Glaze customers. This employee maintains the front counter and product displays while helping customers start their morning quickly and positively. During early production hours or slower service periods, the employee may also assist the bakery team with simple preparation, finishing, packaging, and stocking.
Primary responsibilities:
Welcome customers and provide friendly, efficient service
Take orders accurately and answer basic product questions
Operate the point-of-sale system
Process cash and card payments accurately
Package donuts, beverages, and other products
Stock and maintain clean, attractive product displays
Monitor product availability and communicate restocking needs to the bakery team
Keep the counter, dining, beverage, and customer-service areas clean and organized
Assist with simple food preparation, donut finishing, packaging, and stocking when needed
Follow food-safety, sanitation, and cash-handling procedures
Resolve routine customer concerns professionally or involve a manager when appropriate
Help teammates complete other store tasks during busy periods
Preferred qualifications:
Able to report reliably for scheduled early-morning shifts
Friendly, dependable, and comfortable interacting with customers
Able to communicate clearly and work cooperatively with a small team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Able to stand for extended periods and safely bend, reach, and move products or supplies, with or without reasonable accommodation
Prior cashier, retail, restaurant, or customer-service experience is helpful but not required
Willingness to learn the point-of-sale system, menu, and store procedures

GENERAL POSITION INFORMATION
Compensation:
$10•15 per hour, depending on experience.
Employment type: Hourly, non-exempt W-2 employee
Schedule:
Early-morning shifts, with some shifts beginning as early as 3:00 a.m. Stores generally operate through approximately 1:00 p.m. Exact days and hours vary by position and location.
Experience:
Prior experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train dependable candidates.
