Greet guests and take dine-in, to-go, and phone/online orders at the counter.

Ring tickets on the POS, take cash/card, give change, and keep the drawer accurate.

Know the menu well enough to answer questions, suggest specials, and note mods (no onion, extra ranch, well-done, etc.).

Call or pass tickets to the kitchen and keep an eye on ticket times.

Handle pickup and curbside: confirm names/orders, bag food, and get it out quickly.

Keep the counter, drink station, and dining area tidy; wipe tables, restock cups/lids/condiments, take out trash as needed.

Answer the phone, help with simple guest issues, and stay friendly during the lunch rush.

What they usually look for

Reliable, on time, and comfortable talking to people.

Accurate cash handling and basic POS comfort

Can stand the whole shift and stay organized when several tickets hit at once.

Food Handler card (Texas) is a plus;

Prior cashier, counter, or restaurant experience helps; attitude and reliability matter more in a small shop.

Available for lunch/dinner hours and occasional Saturday.
