A Head Cashier manages all checkout functions including ensuring adequate staffing levels on checkouts, the processing of sales transactions and refunds, monitoring cash drawer amounts and maintaining the checkout area. Head cashier provides first level escalation for customer issues and assists in the supervision and training of cashiers. Head cashier may also be responsible for opening or closing procedures of a store, including alarm operation, unlocking store and setting up of checkout area.

at Burke Mountain Resort/Bear Den Operations Co in East Burke, Vermont, United States Job Description Burke Mountain Campground is looking for friendly, reliable Campground Attendants who enjoy working outdoors and providing excellent guest service. Attendants help create a safe, clean, and welcoming experience for all campers while supporting daily campground operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Check guests in and out; manage campsite and lean-to reservations
  • Answer phones and assist guests with questions and needs
  • Handle cash and follow all cash-handling procedures
  • Clean campsites, bathrooms, and showers; stock supplies as needed
  • Assist with landscaping, light maintenance, and firewood stocking
  • Open/close the sugar shack and maintain cleanliness and security
  • Monitor campground activity and report safety or maintenance issues
  • Communicate professionally with guests and internal departments
  • Close the toll road at dusk each evening
