Job Description
at Burke Mountain Resort/Bear Den Operations Co in East Burke, Vermont, United States Job Description Burke Mountain Resort is seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Technician I to help maintain the safety, appearance, and functionality of our resort facilities and grounds. This hands-on position is responsible for general building maintenance, equipment repairs, basic carpentry, property inspections, and snow removal operations. The ideal candidate enjoys working both independently and as part of a team, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for guests and employees. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on resort buildings, grounds, walkways, and public areas.
- Respond to and complete maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
- Assist with equipment maintenance and repairs across multiple departments.
- Operate snow removal equipment and maintain safe pedestrian travel ways during winter conditions.
- Conduct property inspections and identify maintenance needs.
- Follow all safety policies and emergency procedures.
- Build positive working relationships with coworkers, guests, and vendors.
- Support departmental operations and perform other duties as assigned.
