Aroom Coffee Waterfront is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Cashier to support daily café operations and provide welcoming service to customers. This role involves taking food and beverage orders, processing payments, answering basic menu questions, organizing completed orders, and maintaining a clean and efficient front-counter area. The ideal candidate is attentive, professional, reliable, and comfortable working in a busy coffee shop environment. Key Responsibilities Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service Take coffee, beverage, and food orders accurately Operate the POS system and process cash, card, and other approved payments Answer basic questions about menu items, beverages, and café offerings Confirm order details and communicate customer requests clearly with café team members Provide receipts and assist with dine-in, pickup, and takeout orders Organize completed orders and help maintain smooth customer flow Keep the register, counter, and customer-service areas clean and organized Restock cups, lids, bags, napkins, utensils, and other café supplies Assist baristas and coworkers with routine café duties during busy periods Support opening, closing, and other daily café responsibilities Follow cash-handling, food-safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures Qualifications Previous cashier, café, coffee shop, restaurant, retail, or customer-service experience is helpful Friendly, respectful, and professional approach to customers Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable, punctual, and responsible Good attention to detail and transaction accuracy Comfortable working in a fast-paced café environment Able to learn POS systems, menu information, and café procedures Willingness to follow instructions and support the café team Benefits On-the-job training and support Flexible scheduling may be available Employee discounts or café perks may be available Opportunities to develop café and customer-service skills Supportive and team-oriented work environment Additional benefits may vary by position and location About the Company Aroom Coffee Waterfront provides a welcoming coffee shop environment focused on quality beverages, friendly service, and efficient daily operations.
