Job Description

Looking for a high-energy night owl to join our team! We're hiring a Cage Cashier for the graveyard shift. If you have great customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and love working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you. This is a highly tipped position with awesome earning potential! Responsibilities include handling financial transactions, cashing out chips and vouchers, and providing friendly service to our guests throughout the night. Ready to level up your night routine? ! Distributes moneys to gaming guests via check cashing, conversion to/from coins/tokens and gaming checks into currency. Responsible for the makeup and verification of bankrolls for all money handling departments. Operates assigned bank or window according to procedure. Verifies previous count sheet from assigned bank or window count sheet from the Main Bank. Counts down bank or window at end of each shift and reconciles to the Cage accountability or window impressment. Responsible for the operation of assigned bank or window according to regulations. Selling and redeeming slot gaming tickets, instructing players and features of the slot equipment and basic Casino procedures. Responsible for handling large amounts of currency, balancing as well as completing paperwork neatly and accurately. Handle more than one assigned bank. Provides excellent customer service to our guests consistent with the department service standards. Native American hiring preference for qualified candidates.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Safeguard 7 Cedars Casino assets and balances assigned bank. Need to verify soft count throughout their shift. Add selling/ redeem slot vouchers. Redeem chips into currency for guests. Process credit card, cash advances and personal checks following strict identification guidelines. Obtain and maintain full knowledge and requirements of Title 31. Complete transactions and documentation in accordance with Gaming Regulation requirements and company policies and procedures. Calculate and redeems Canadian currency according to current foreign exchange rate. Attend all departmental staff meetings and quarterly team meetings. Exchange coins for cash and handle all cash exchanges; maneuver cans of coins, bags of coins and change cash-outs for customers. Maintain appearance standards as outlined in departmental policies. Provide information and explain Players Club benefits, property amenities & promotions to our guests. Provide courteous service to our guests and be cordial to all team members. Demonstrate proficiency, accuracy and attention to details when performing transactions with money and/or filling out required paperwork. Maintain a constant, regular attendance record. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. Must follow all safety rules and regulations. Follow all general and department policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Must be 18 years of age. Must have 6 months money handling experience. Must be computer literate. Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and/or team members. Strong organization, prioritization and multiple-tasking skills. Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality. Highly adaptable with the ability to adjust to change in a positive manner. Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing; accuracy in record keeping strongly required.
