Responsibilities Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently. Handle cash transactions with precision, ensuring accurate cash handling and balancing of the register at the end of shifts. Assist in merchandising efforts by promoting products through effective upselling techniques. Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries over the phone. Requirements Must be at least 18 years old. Must be willing to obtain an Operating License from the town of Sharon Previous cashiering experience in a convenience store or retail environment is preferred. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers and team members.
