Pay Rate:

$19.00 - $33.00 per hour (based on experience) Peoplelink Staffing Solutions , in partnership with a prominent robotics and plastics manufacturer in the Sharon, WI area, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team. Position Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on a wide range of building systems, equipment, and machinery. This role ensures that all facilities and equipment remain safe, efficient, and fully operational to support daily production and business operations. Job Duties & Responsibilities Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, machinery, HVAC units, plumbing, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical equipment Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and complete repairs in a timely manner Respond promptly to maintenance requests, service calls, and equipment malfunctions Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities Install, adjust, and replace parts and components as needed Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and equipment manuals Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and OSHA regulations Assist with general facility maintenance such as lighting, painting, and basic carpentry Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors when necessary Maintain an organized work area and properly store tools and materials Experience & Qualifications Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, or machinery repair strongly preferred Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and building systems Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 70 lbs on a regular basis Ability to perform physically demanding tasks Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods Work Environment Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor settings Overtime, on-call rotations, and emergency call-ins may be required
