Overview:

A local civic organization is seeking motivated interns interested in gaining hands on experience in politics, community organizing, and public policy . This internship offers a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced organizers and community leaders involved in local issues and elections.

Responsibilities:

Assisting with community outreach and voter engagement Helping organize neighborhood meetings and events Conducting research on local policy and government issues Supporting communications efforts, including social media and email newsletters Assisting with volunteer coordination and canvassing operations Monitoring local news and public meetings relevant to city government

Qualifications:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable. Passion for politics.

Time commitment:

Flexible scheduling with opportunities for both weekday and weekend involvement.
