In this role, you will engage directly with residents through face-to-face communication, promoting our initiatives and building meaningful connections. Bilingual skills in English and Mandarin are highly preferred to effectively communicate with diverse community members. Duties Conduct door-to-door canvassing in designated neighborhoods to promote community programs and gather feedback Engage residents through friendly, face-to-face conversations, explaining campaign goals clearly and confidently Utilize mobile devices to record interactions, update contact information, and track outreach progress Distribute informational materials while answering questions about our initiatives and services Identify opportunities for community engagement and encourage participation in upcoming events or programs Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude during outdoor work in various weather conditions Collaborate with team members to meet daily outreach goals and share insights on community needs Qualifications Prior experience in field sales, canvassing, or community outreach is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse audiences face-to-face Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is highly desirable for effective community engagement Demonstrated ability to work outdoors walking door-to-door for extended periods Customer service experience with a friendly, approachable demeanor Experience with telemarketing or mobile devices for data entry is a plus Supervising experience or leadership skills are advantageous but not mandatory Join us if you're passionate about making a difference through direct community interaction!
