In this role, you will lead a team of canvassers to connect with community members face-to-face, promote our initiatives, and gather valuable feedback. Your leadership will drive successful door-to-door campaigns, enhance community relationships, and support fundraising efforts. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop leadership skills while making a tangible impact in the community through outdoor work and direct communication. Duties Supervise and motivate a team of canvassers to achieve daily outreach goals Provide training on effective canvassing techniques, customer service, and community engagement strategies Lead by example during door-to-door visits, demonstrating strong face-to-face communication skills Coordinate daily schedules and assign territories to maximize coverage and efficiency Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and support professional development Engage with community members in outdoor settings using mobile devices for data collection and communication Assist in organizing community events or outreach activities to boost campaign visibility Requirements Proven supervising or team leadership experience in field sales, canvassing, or outdoor work environments Strong marketing background with knowledge of community engagement strategies Experience in face-to-face communication, door-to-door outreach, or telemarketing preferred Ability to walk extensively outdoors and navigate various neighborhoods using transportation methods such as walking or public transit Excellent conversational engagement skills with diverse audiences; bilingual abilities are a plus Familiarity with mobile devices for data entry and communication during campaigns Customer service experience with a focus on building rapport and trust within communities Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in outdoor settings Join us as a Team Lead Canvasser and become a vital part of our mission to connect communities, promote meaningful initiatives, and develop your leadership potential—all while making a positive difference!
