Little Village, Chicago
Pay:
$17.05/hour
Hours:
10-15 hours per week during the month of October We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Dominican University student to conduct in-person market research with small businesses in the Little Village neighborhood. The canvasser will go door-to-door, engage with small business owners, and invite them to complete a brief 20-25 question survey on an iPad.
Qualifications:
Current student at Dominican University
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Familiar with the Little Village neighborhood
Comfortable walking door-to-door for several hours
Friendly, confident, and able to engage professionally with small business owners
Available to work 10-15 hours per week during October
Basic technology proficiency, including use of an iPad or mobile device
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
Responsibilities:
Visit small businesses throughout Little Village
Introduce the research project and explain the survey
Encourage business owners to participate
Assist participants with completing the survey on an iPad when needed
Accurately record survey participation and follow research protocols
