Responsibilities Conduct door-to-door canvassing in various neighborhoods to share campaign messages and gather voter opinions Engage with community members through face-to-face communication, building rapport and trust Utilize mobile devices to record interactions, update contact information, and track outreach progress Promote campaign initiatives, fundraising efforts, or voter registration drives with enthusiasm and professionalism Identify potential supporters and volunteers, encouraging ongoing engagement with the campaign or organization Manage outdoor work environments efficiently while maintaining safety protocols during canvassing activities Use strong negotiation and conversational engagement skills to address questions or concerns from community members Experience Prior field sales or canvassing experience preferred but not required Experience in outdoor work environments, including walking extensively and door-to-door campaigns Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate and engage in meaningful conversations face-to-face Knowledge of fundraising strategies, community engagement practices, and telemarketing techniques is beneficial
