Description:

NGO Sustainability seeks dynamic self-starters to assist in its outreach and awareness-raising efforts. This internship position is an excellent opportunity to attain knowledge of current advancements in the field of sustainable development, learn about the workings of a nonprofit organization, and the work of the United Nations (UN Sustainable Development Goals). Interns will also have a chance to attend and report on relevant meetings at the UN Headquarters in New York City. Candidates preferred from the greater New York City Metropolitan Area although remote positions are available. Interns may be entitled to credit or a stipend depending on their academic institutions.

Responsibilities:

Create and distribute our newsletter (Global Warning) to a mailing list of 1,000+ subscribers. Maintain correspondence with NGO Sustainability's mailing list, while responding to inquiries via email and telephone. Coordinate UN events and webinars with innovators, entrepreneurs, academia, and UN ambassadors. Administrative duties, such as filing, making phone calls, gathering materials. Research current literature on sustainable development and renewable energy. Manage website and social media accounts, including
