Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Canvasser to join our team. As a Canvasser, you will be responsible for canvassing neighborhoods, engaging with potential supporters, and promoting our organization's mission. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be comfortable working outdoors, and have a strong desire to make a positive impact in their community. - Canvass neighborhoods to promote our organization's mission and goals.
- Engage with potential supporters, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Conduct door-to-door sales and fundraising efforts.
- Utilize effective communication skills to negotiate and build relationships with potential supporters.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for all individuals encountered.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales and fundraising goals.
- Maintain accurate records of all canvassing activities and sales transactions.
- Work in a fast-paced outdoor environment, adapting to changing weather conditions.
- Participate in training sessions to improve canvassing techniques and enhance product knowledge.
- Meet and exceed sales and fundraising targets.
Experience:
- Proven experience in sales, customer service, or a related field.
- Experience with door-to-door sales and fundraising efforts is highly desirable.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are an asset in this role.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Experience with market research and analysis.
- Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to communicate effectively with people of all backgrounds.
