Job Description

This is not another "knock doors, dump a lead, hope you get paid" roofing job. Summit Solutions Roofing & Construction is hiring a Profit Share Sales Partner in Dallas / DFW — a full-cycle role where you own the neighborhood, own the homeowner relationship, and get paid on the profit of the work you produce. You generate the opportunity. You walk the property with the adjuster. You stay with the client through production, other trades, final funding, and warranty. You run it like your own book of business inside a company that actually backs the work. If you want a salary for showing up, this is not it. If you want to build real income with a founder who pays on time, trains in the field, and holds a winners-only standard — keep reading. Who You'll Work With You'll work inside the company built by Jason Nemes, Founder & CEO. Jason is not a silent owner. He is a TEDx speaker ( Death Gave Me a PhD on Life ), author of The Code of Behavior , a former top 1% network-marketing leader who built a 4,500-person organization, and the operator who started Summit from scratch. He has been public about dying on the table from a widow-maker on Easter Sunday 2021 — and coming back with a different standard for time, people, and results. The culture is simple and not for everybody: Winners Only. Comfort is the enemy. Pay people when you say you will. Do what you say you're going to do. Treat every roof like it's going over your own family's home. Summit is BBB Accredited

A+, TAMKO

Pro Diamond Certified, licensed and insured, 5.0 on Google, with a lifetime labor warranty and 30-year manufacturer coverage. Offices in The Colony, Austin, and Midland. Work across TX, OK, AR, and TN. Residential and commercial roofing, storm/hail restoration with full insurance-claim support, plus exterior construction — gutters, siding, fascia, soffit, windows, and related trades. That multi-trade scope is a real advantage on a profit-share deal. The Opportunity This is profit share per contract — not a canvasser who never sees the check.

You will:

Generate your own opportunities by knocking doors, working your six-pack, and building relationships in HOAs and neighborhoods — especially larger homes, because larger homes mean larger profit. Sign contracts and stay the homeowner's point of contact from first knock through final funding and warranty. Meet adjusters on site. Walk the damage. Advocate for the proper scope. Build relationships with independent adjusters (many are on schedule pay and will work with a pro who knows the job). You represent the contractor. You are not a public adjuster. You do not discuss policy. Turn jobs into Summit's supplement and follow-up team so claims stay on a tight cadence until approval and funding. Collect and get the ACV check endorsed (direction to pay is on the contract). Help the client understand deductible, recoverable depreciation, and the path to final funds.

Complete prelims before construction:

photos of perimeters, AC units, garage, driveway, existing damage, wood rot, interior leaks — so production starts clean and the homeowner trusts you. Use build days as the best marketing you'll ever have. Signage. Noise. Neighbors outside. Walk the six-pack. Invite previous conversations back to see how Summit actually operates. Coordinate additional trades the company performs so one relationship captures more of the job. Stay through final invoice, last supplements, depreciation release, client sign-off, and warranty. You are the salesperson, the project partner, and the account manager. Leadership's line is accurate: you run a franchise-style book inside the brand. If a duty is yours and you bring on help, that cost comes out of your side. The line is clean. What The Lifecycle Actually Looks Like After a storm, carriers move money. Approvals commonly land anywhere from two weeks to three months.

A realistic post-storm picture:

a large share of signed work gets approved, a portion you fight for, and some you lose to denials, high deductibles, or policy issues. When a claim is denied, the company will bring in a PA or counsel when it makes sense. First funding is typically ACV — actual cash value, less depreciation. Recoverable depreciation releases after the final invoice. Deductibles are paid to the contractor. You pick the check up, get it endorsed, production gets scheduled, and you stay visible in that neighborhood while the crew is there. That visibility is the flywheel. One good job, done right, with a rep who keeps showing face, turns into the next six conversations. Earnings Uncapped profit share on the work you produce.

Field standard from leadership:

two to three quality jobs a week in the right neighborhoods is six-figure territory. Summit's public recruiting page states top D2D reps have earned $35,000-$45,000 in a month on high-ticket projects. That is not typical, not a guarantee, and it requires volume, neighborhood selection, follow-through, and closing skill. You are paid for production, not attendance. No cap. Who Thrives Here Hungry, competitive people who would rather own a book of business than wait for a lead list Coachable. If you already know everything, you won't last Comfortable knocking doors and starting conversations with homeowners, HOAs, and neighbors Willing to stay in the relationship after the signature High personal standard — the brand is on every job you put in the ground This is not for you if you need a base to feel safe, quit after a week of no, want remote / 9-to-5, treat the homeowner as a transaction, or need someone else to generate every lead forever. Requirements Valid license, reliable vehicle, daily DFW field work Mornings, some Saturdays, storm-driven schedule Strong communication with homeowners, adjusters, production, and supplements Coachability and grit. No roofing experience required. D2D / in-home / high-ticket is a plus Smartphone, photo documentation, follow the field process and legal guidelines Authorization to work in the U.S.

Nice to have:

storm/insurance sales, existing DFW or adjuster relationships, production or multi-trade coordination. What you get besides the check A real brand: premium materials, certified crews, lifetime labor warranty, TAMKO Diamond, A+ BBB A supplement team so you are not chasing USAA alone Hands-on field training with people who have already sold millions — not a binder Multi-trade upside on one relationship A founder who is visible, pays on time, and is still building. Producers who get in and produce have room to grow a team inside the model How to Apply Apply on Indeed and answer the screeners honestly. Strong applicants move to a short interview to confirm fit, walk the profit-share structure, and set a start date. If you've been selling roofs in DFW and you're tired of sloppy ops, late checks, or a company that disappears after the signature — this is the conversation.
