American Home Builders is a licensed, bonded and insured home improvement company with offices in Bellevue and Renton. We grow by word of mouth, and we are hiring canvassers to knock doors in neighborhoods where our crews are already working and set free, no-obligation in-home consultations with our project managers. You do not sell and you never quote prices. You start friendly conversations with homeowners, find out what they would like to improve (roofing, siding, windows, kitchens, bathrooms, decks, ADUs

• anything on the house), and book a time for a project manager to come out.

When that project sells, you earn 1% of the contract on top of your hourly pay.

What you will do:

• Canvass assigned neighborhoods near our active job sites
• Introduce American Home Builders and schedule free in-home consultations
• Log every conversation and appointment in our CRM app on your phone
• Hit daily door and appointment targets and attend a short morning huddle What we are looking for:
• Comfortable talking to strangers, upbeat, thick-skinned and coachable
• Reliable transportation and a smartphone
• Able to walk 4-6 hours a day in all weather
• Canvassing, sales, fundraising or customer service experience is a plus
• we train the rest
• Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the US Pay and perks:
• $25.00 per hour guaranteed, paid weekly
• 1% commission on every project sold from your appointments (typical projects run $15,000 to $80,000, so $150 to $800 per sold job)
• Weekly bonuses for top setters
• Flexible shifts, paid training, and room to move into sales or project management
